Do I tell my 17yr old I am going on dating sites?

Been on my own for 2 yrs. the kids dad has had a girlfriend for about 6 months who they have met and are fine with. I am thinking of trying dating sites, but I have no photos I can use (I literally hate photos of myself and look ridiculous in selfies), so I could ask my 17 year old to take some for me, but she would ask why as I spend my life avoiding cameras. Should I just tell the truth at her age or make something up?

This is weird just ask a friend or take a selfie or mirror pic?

Yea, ask a friend or an older relative, it's weird to rope your DC into it. My DS has warned me not to do hinge or tinder as he has some mates on there - seems sometimes for a laugh they might look up age ranges of their mates single mothers to see if they are on.

No don’t.
Think outside the box with reasons for a photo.
