Crushing on my manager ..

I’ve been having an awful time in work lately (basically someone made up false allegations and it’s been really tough on me). The only person who has been really supportive is my manager and we have been spending a lot more time together as a consequence and I have noticed that I am feeling quite strongly about him now and the feelings are growing …
I’m not 100% if he sees me the same way as I see him but I think there is something there though maybe I am imagining it.
At this stage I am considering to change my job because of the work situation, and I think I would definitely do it if he was interested. My sister tells me that I’m nuts and that I’m not seeing things clearly and that he’s probably taking advantage of me but I don’t think he is doing that at all.
Has anybody been in this situation before that they started fancying someone during time of stress?
Please don’t call me stupid, I know that I am a bit of a mess at the moment.

Lots of people trauma bond.
Keep it in perspective and as far as leaving, I think you need professional advice as leaving before your clear your name might not look good. Perhaps sick leave for distance is better?
