Husband admitted to me last night he’s only watched porn once and it was in bed while I. Was asleep !!!! It just gave me the ick to say the least. AIBU ?

Almost every single person, male and female, with an Internet connection watches porn.

I'm thinking that the vast majority of men, even those men who don't use and are against porn, have looked at it at least once. It seems strange that the first time he's ever looked at it was in bed with you!

Porn use is very widespread for sure, but it's not quite as ubiquitous as you believe it is. Not everyone watches porn.

I'd be inclined to not believe him. How did this conversation come about? You can have whatever boundaries you wish in your relationship. Not everyone watches porn. Its not something you have to tolerate but it's worth discussing so you can both be on the same page.

It’s not necessarily the use of porn that bothers me it’s the fact he’s doing it while I’m sleeping next to him

Does it feel disrespectful to you in bed next to you? Would it be a non issue if he was doing it another bedroom?

I would assume this isn't the first time he has watched porn and watching it whilst you are asleep next to him does suggest he lacks a level of awareness/ doesnt care

Yep, definitely only ONE time. Just happened upon the site while searching for bin liners on Amazon.

He's only watched it once in his whole life? Including teenage years?
