I'm getting more and more annoyed with my DM, and between feeling annoyed I also feel guilty :( We've always had a such a good relationship and we've always been really close, but over the last few years something has changed and I really don't understand why. What's changed is that she seems to have gotten very fond of my DB and suddenly admires everything about him.
I know that this will make me sound like a jealous cow, but I really don't get it. I mean there are obviously some things that are admirable, but our DM has completely changed her opinion on some matters where he has been acting like a complete dick and hurt people. I love my DB of course but in a way I have accepted him for who he is, but I am so confused that he is suddenly the best thing that ever happened to her.
I feel ridiculous writing this because I appreciate that I sound like a petulant teenager, but I just don't get why things changed. I had my first DC 6 months back and DM has been amazing and I think she loves being a GM, but the changed started before then. Anyone else who went through weird family dynamic changes as grown ups? It's wrecking my head.
