Online dating weirdness

Ok. So just to caveat this - I'm not really bothered more baffled about something ...

So first time ever online (after 10 year relationship) start talking to a guy, nice looking seems we have stuff in common - great!!

Decent chat with a lot of sexual convo, loves his meat and two veg likes to talk about it a lot BUT will also have a decent chat.
After 4 months doesn't seem to want to meet me.

Will always says things implying he can't wait to meet me, wishes he could see me (apparently is away a lot) but on the one occasion I suggested it 'forgot' we'd sorted that date (didn't stand me up as hadn't sort a time or place).

Oh and also will only speak to me on the app, won't exchange numbers yet - to keep us both safe.

It's just weird - why?! He clearly doesn't want to meet so why waste his time. If he wanted to get his leg over let's be honest he'd have had it by now!!!

I can't work out if it's a fetish or he has a girlfriend or something else....

So why do we think?!

He's not single. I was talking to someone similar to this. We did eventually swap numbers but he would block me every night and claimed his phone died. When I finally called him out on it all he admitted he was married. Said that's why I could never meet you in person. He was blocked immediately.

Yes he is probably not single but I also found a lot of guys on OLD who had recently come out of a LTR and clearly just looking for an ego boost. They rarely wanted to meet.

I’m most intrigued by him liking his meat and two veg and talking about it A LOT. Do you mean he drones on about loving a roast dinner?! 😂 I like a roast too, but that alone would bore me to tears, never mind he’s likely married.

Sounds like a player, and loves to suggest meeting, and wants to chat all night. Then its send pictures, and he sends you a picture, and its too dark to know if its him or not. Italians are the worst ones, for me any way.
