Has anyone else decided to give up dating both online or in real life?

Can only speak from personal experience but I'm sick to death with the endless disappointments and amount of shit you have to wade through. Its not worth the heartache or stress.

I'm 45 now and I've accepted I will never have anymore relationships.

I've grown to enjoying my own company but do miss regular sex.

I and a couple of my friends (30s/40s) have also given up and the one single friend who persists hasn’t had any luck even going beyond a few dates. It is the state of life where people have become averse to commitment over a certain age. Clearly there are some lucky ones who have gone on to meet partners in their 40s/50s but the likelihood at the moment seems 0.1% for me.

You don’t need to be in a relationship to have sex. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Bature is right. I got more, when I wasn’t married…

@occhiazzurri Well online dating doesn't work for me so that's not an option. Plus so many cheating pieces of shit on there. I know you shouldn't wish ill on people but I hope some of the men I've dated over the years drop down dead and have a painful death!
