Just a whinge really.

Been off the dating apps for a while (years actually!) but got myself back on them recently.

Met a nice guy and had what I thought was a really good date last Thursday. But apparently not because now he’s doing the all too recognisable ‘slow fade’ out.

So back to swiping I go. Ugh, I hate dating!

It wasn’t very exciting, just casual drinks. But we were chatting from 8pm-ish until 2am!! You know when you can just have a giggle with someone and it’s not difficult at all, it was like that.

Anyway, on to the next one!

What was the plan after the date? Not much need to chat if you have met for real.

You could always speed up the fade by sending a "had a lovely time and wish you all the best" message.

I find best to try keep first dates shortish. Even better if you can do them in the daytime.
