After great first date

Met a guy from Bumble. Fun first date - went on until early hours! He was very, very into me. Said we are clearly going on second date etc. We were texting lots before the date as well. However since the date on Saturday, he sent me only one msg yesterday saying ‘just a quick message to say happy new year! You’re definitely one of the good ones! Xx’ and I wished him a good year and said we definitely had a great time’

And over 24 hours and nothing…

He’s not that interested right? Maybe liked me but not sure about a second date.

I presume you both talked about what you were up to at New Year? So if he was out then agree with PP it’s only been one day, he could have been busy/hungover/tired

It's only a couple of days since your first date and it's been NYE. Why not message him and say 'Hope you had a good New Year, do you want to go for a drink next weekend?' and just see what happens.

Yeah I’m sensing not. It’s so odd because we had such a nice time and he couldn’t contain his excitement around me all night. He wasnt sleazy or trying it on.

Could just be hungover or busy with new year plans but tbh I've come across more of this than I care to remember - no idea why, date goes genuinely well but the interest just fizzles on one side or another.

Great if he's in touch, don't take personally if not.
