Haven’t had sex with DP in 1.5 years

DS is 9 months, last time DP and I had sex was before I found out I was pregnant. Had a rough prevnancy (HG) so didn’t feel up to it. Horrible birth and extremely clingy baby who i cosleep with every night whilst DP is in spare room. Baby is EBF and no family around so can’t leave him at all. I don’t have a sex drive at all- maybe because of BF? I’m quite worried about leaving it too long in case we never rekindle or is this normal?

Similar happened to me. I “found” my sex drive again in order to have another baby but it wasn’t ever really there. Our marriage deteriorated and we split up. My sex drive came back as a single woman. I suspect this has more to do with my poor marriage than becoming a mum though so probably doesn’t apply to you!

My baby is 2 and since she was born we have had sex 3 times.
the first time at around 18 months. My sex drive was in the floor, still is but then it comes on strong when I’m ovulating.
I don’t crave any affection from him as I’m so touched out from breastfeeding and bedsharing.
I do try to be honest with him and he is very patient fortunately
I did also tell him to sort himself out.

I was upfront with him and said it wasn’t about him it was my libido and energy levels. That I still love him

I had no interest while I was bf-ing. Once I stopped and my hormones balanced out it came back but not on the same level as before falling pregnant.
