DH only talks about his ‘Glory days’

Am I being too sensitive? is he bored of his current life? Or is he trying to prove something?

I have been with DH for 13 years.
whenever we go out with people / my family, all he talks about is his past (20s) and how much fun he had.
He talks about it so much, I could retell each story and get them correct.
On Christmas Day, he told the most unbelievable story from his past, about a party, his then GF, D**gs and where she hid them!
he told this story to my whole family, my parents included!

I appreciate, we like to talk about our past. But this is EVERY SINGLE TIME.

If he drinks, it’s worse, he gets verbal diarrhoea and talks about some inappropriate things.

All I could picture when reading this is uncle Albert talking about his days during the war 😂

Meh after spending Xmas with a family member that is still telling those stories at age 78, I can't say I am optimistic for you.

God don't, I've got three like this, all women that repeatedly tell the same stories over and over and you know it's coming and try and stop it but NO, the entire bloody story has to be retold from beggining to end.

And it's not just age cause they've been doing it for 40 years, that's just with me.
