Was I wrong?

My husband went to take a photo of me. He was standing smiling at me and he often messes around, doesn't listen to no etc. so I said please don't start taking unflattering photos of me. He knows I struggle with my body image and he has taken unflattering photos before thinking it was funny. He continued to hold the phone and smile at me. So I said, right would you want me to take an unflattering photo of you? He got annoyed at me.

Anyway, he proceeded to start huffing and telling me I had upset him by saying that. I explained why I said it and he is demanding I apologise and has created a row and ruined our morning ( we are away on a break). Totally OTT response. He is unhappy with his weight, so he tends to project a lot of this onto me. We have a lot of issues. But I'm just amazed he has managed to create such an issue out of that interaction. Was I wrong?

No you weren’t wrong at all - you called him out on his shitty behaviour so now he’s trying to make himself the victim not you!
