This is my settings. Could this be why my boyfriends friends can't see that I've tagged him or would it be because of his settings?

That would be to do with your boyfriends settings, not yours.

Thanks, it confuses me. I tagged him in posts which his friends liked and then they didn't (special posts not just nonsense). I'm sure I used to have it set to friends of friends and can't remember changing it!
