Living together when divorcing

We have decided to divorce (I want to end it, he doesn't).

Will need to sell the house but we are mid renovation so we decided to finish the house as best we can first, otherwise we'll make a loss.

How do I navigate being separated but living together?

Do I now stop cooking for him, doing things with him? I don't know what the healthiest way forward is.

Any advice appreciated.

Its going to be difficult, and theres lots to consider and depends on your current set up and period of time. In essence you need to decide what you want to do/ or are willing to do in the circumstances which will leave you the happiest or not as unhappy.

Are you amicable about the split?
Are you able to discuss this?

how long will the renovations take?
Do you have separate bedrooms?
Would you do his washing as well?

If you are happy to cook then fine but if you begrudge doing it and dont want to and dont feel you should.

It may be easier to treat the situation as no longer husband and wife but two lodgers in the same house?

Sometimes people change drastically after relationships break down and so could do thinhs younever dreamed they would do before so realky a good sensible conversation with boundaries identifed from the start.

Sorry unable to give more direction on the info provided

Very amicable, we want to try to stay friends. Definitely open to discussion. Renovations - at least 6 months. Yes, we're already in seperate bedrooms, it's a large house so we won't be on top of each other. He does his own washing anyway, though I would likely still do bed sheets/towels etc.

Thank you, I really appreciate your reply.
