Instead of OLD, has anyone met a partner via platforms such as Tiktok or Instagram?

I'm early 50's and divorced ... and OLD is hopeless! I just wondered if anyone else had met a partner via other platforms?

Nothing personally, but I’ve seen a fair few people on Twitter saying they’ve met people on there.

Not quite the same but I met current guy on Twitter...we were friends there for 1.5 years but neither made a move because we didn't know of the other's status.

Then I signed up for Tinder and guess who I match with and is looking for the same things!

I was embarrassed at first as I post my uncurated self/thoughts to Twitter but I think its actually a good thing.

I met DH back in 2001 in MSN chat rooms! I have a friend who moved to America to marry her DH and they met on a virtual pets site.
