can't believe it's finally coming to this - and it's so imminent

yes (interview and him moving out.....)

OP posts:
lou33 · 12/03/2008 14:42

could you not move it? i think the day will be stressful enough for you

FAQ · 12/03/2008 14:44

no - I'd rather get it out of the way. Already have a friend lined up to babysit DS2 and 3 (DS1 will be at school)......and DS's and I are going to have fish and chips from the chippy down the road for dinner and I'm treating myself to a nice bottle of wine for when they've gone to bed

OP posts:
lou33 · 12/03/2008 14:49

yes, turn it into a celebration of the first step in your new life

WallOfSilence · 13/03/2008 22:39

Only just saw this FAQ & wanted to wish you the best of luck for tomorrow

Will be thinking of you x

lou33 · 14/03/2008 08:48

yes good luck today

lou33 · 15/03/2008 17:07

how are you faq?

FAQ · 15/03/2008 17:49

I'm ok thanks

had a FABULOUS night last night......8.10 and I got a phonecall from my vicar (DS1 answered it) I rang her back - thinking it was something to do with the service tomorrow.......instead I was wished a happy birthday and asked if I'd opened my wine yet.

I hadn't - as H was still around sorting a few bits out.......was then told they "we just happen to have a bottle ready to open and some pizza that's just finished cooking, is it ok if we come over"...

"what/who" I asked....and I was told that it was her, my close friend and another good friend (who happens to be the church warden and a TA at DS1's school to).

So they came over, we talked about nothing, drank wine and ate pizza and it was great

Off out this evening to a "sing-a-long Grease" with the DS's.....

So keeping myself busy...........mind you I've only JUST rinsed and stacked yesterdays dishes LOL

oh and I got a cheque in the post for £52 from my (old) work - that I was still owed for my one nights AL that I accrued in January while still on Mat leave

OP posts:
lou33 · 15/03/2008 17:53

oh i am glad

that's the kind of people you can call your friends

how lovely

OracleInaCoracle · 15/03/2008 17:53

glad you ended up having a good night, how are things today?

FAQ · 15/03/2008 17:55

yes it was really lovely - and they kept it VERY quiet........I see my close friend on a DAILY basis (often 2/3 times a day what with church/choir/nursery drop-off and pick-up and her doing occasional babysitting for me.....not to mention trips to the Morrisons cafe for coffee) and I'd see her just that afternoon - I didn't suspect a thing!

how lovely!

lou33 · 15/03/2008 17:56

sing a long a grease sounds fun actually

FAQ · 15/03/2008 17:59

yes it should be good for a laugh - it's a church organised one - but my friend (as mentioned above) is going with her DD3...and I'm taking all 3 DS's - having an extremely rare late night.

WallOfSilence · 15/03/2008 18:17

Have a great night FAQ!!!

Don't forget to update us!

Did dh tell you where he was off to in the end?

lou33 · 15/03/2008 19:40

have fun

FAQ · 15/03/2008 21:43

well I'm back - DS1 and 2 were absolutely fine - they sat right at the front with a whole load of children they know from Sunday School - and had an absolute ball.

DS3 was pretty good too - he sat/stood/wriggled on my knee for most of it - it was only the last 10 minutes I had to stand up and hold him at the back.

About to have some of the wine that's left over for last night.

WoS - yes he's in Northampton (not too far away, but not so close that we could end up bumping into each other)

WallOfSilence · 15/03/2008 21:48

Glad you had fun!!

Did you boogie?

FAQ · 15/03/2008 21:49

well...........as much as you can with a 9 1/2 month old baby (who is in mostly 18-24 month clothes......) in your arms

shelleylou · 15/03/2008 22:18

Northamptons a pretty big place i trioed finding my brother there many occasions and never could. Where about are you then FAQ if you dont mind me asking. Im glad your doing ok.

FAQ · 15/03/2008 22:19

he's directly opposite the Rugby Club - so nice and easy to find should I ever feel inclined to go and spy on him (not likely LOL).

I'm in Wellingborough.....just noticed that you're in Northants too

OP posts:
shelleylou · 15/03/2008 22:22

My brother used to live there, used too be able t look out of his window and watch the match. Its a small world isnt it? Not far away at all then, I thought there was only me from northants lol

FAQ · 15/03/2008 22:25

no there are a few of us - couple up in Corby, at least 2 of us in Wellingborough, then at least 2 or 3 in Northampton as well I think.

Where abouts are you (if you don't mind me asking) - I know all the Northants postcode areas (from doing H's route planning for work - he's a TV Licence officer) so a NN? would give me a rough indication if you don't want to be very specific LOL.
