Why is lying on a man's shoulder so amazing?

Just that really. Do men actually enjoy this? Does anyone not love lying with their head on their partner's shoulder? 🤔

I love it for about 10 minutes and then we both get too hot/fidgety/arm goes dead. It's definitely nice for a bit though!

Sorry, I've got insomnia and this is what I was thinking at about 4am. It's not deep but I wouldn't ask anyone irl, either.

It's actually one of my insomnia cures! I can usually get back to sleep pretty quickly if I snuggle up to DP and can hear his heartbeat. He hasn't complained yet!

We love it, we snuggle up like this and watch tv, it makes us both feel happy and we're not young newly weds, we've been together 27 years

It's it for a period of time then does get uncomfortable after a while

@madeinmanc no, I'm female. My DH is on the slimmer side, so has bony shoulders, and I have a strange shaped skull, do it is not comfortable for more than about 5 minutes.

I will do this for a short while but it’s not that comfy and I couldn’t fall asleep this way

God knows but there is a special kind of magic in snuggling up to the man you love like this. My absolute favourite time of day is lying like this with his arm around me both drifting off to sleep. I look forward to bed just for the quality hugging 😂

This is me. I admit I’m not a tactile/cuddly person so any more than a few minutes snuggling up and I’m gently pulling away

I'm not a snuggler. I find it very uncomfortable generally, boney shoulders stick into you, more padded one my head slides off. And then I get too hot.

I enjoy it but the only problem is after a while my arm would go dead so shoulder or on chest. Both are nice to me.

Yep, this! Everything in the world disappears and its the most perfect, peaceful moment. Bliss.

It's really uncomfortable - my neck at an awkward angle, his shoulder weighed down by my head. Nearly 30 years together and we're still not fans of this for more than a minute or so.
