Im bi, I have mostly had relationships and friendships with women and am a bit of a novice with talking to guys. I have recently met a guy a few times, he is eloquent and chatty when messaging but he comes over he is really quiet and difficult to make a conversation with. Is that normal for guys? He confident so I don't think it is social anxiety.

My hubs is eloquent in texts but quiet in real life until he relaxes and gets to know people better. This could be the same with your guy. If you like othe things about him maybe hang in there for a couple more dates and then decide?

I would give it some time to get more comfortable, possibly just different personalities if you're quite chatty. If it keeps bothering you then I guess you're not compatible, no harm done :)
