Found viagra/ED pills in DH’s sock drawer

Went to find some socks to borrow and hidden underneath were some Tadalafil pills for erectile disfunction. 20ml, top dose, and two taken. We’ve had sex once this week. Unsure when the other taken or why.

Don’t know how to approach DH about it. Or whether to at all. He obviously didn’t want me to find them and sort of feel bad that I did.

He’s never had a problem down there as far as I know. Very high sex drive. Also, are these pills the same as Viagra? I’m confused about the difference…

I'm not sure why the fact that he hasn't had ED means there something to be suspicious about. That would imply that he needs it for his affair partner but not for sex with the OP, which doesn't make sense.

Why would he be having an affair with someone that he was so unattracted to that he needed pills, when clearly he had
no physical need and was perfectly able to perform with the OP - it makes no sense.

It’s a bit of a jump from “found some pills “ , “needs it for his affair partner “

Mature, healthy relationships like yours are rare though.

Nelly10 · 03/11/2023 10:48

The viagra pills I found were because my stxh was having affairs with younger women.

TheOwlChronicles · 03/11/2023 10:56

I'd call my marriage mature and healthy but you couldn't pay me to go out once a week with the sole purpose of discussing how it was all going Grin

OP - I'd bide my time for now and see how it goes.

@Nelly10 I'm sorry to her that, but its really important not to assume Viagra = an affair. As hard as it might be to hear, your OH would have still had an affair if he is was comfortably able to perform without Viagra. In your scenario Viagra was a by product and not the reason for the affair.

I used PDES5's because I needed to use them, and not because I was having an affair.

The reality is, most men at some point need a little extra help, it might be as simple as an ego boost, or it might be because of a physical issue, either short term or long term.

ladybird30 · 03/11/2023 11:37

I really wouldn't worry yourself.
I've found viagra my OH was using in the past. I never mentioned it as I think most men find it hard to talk about and a little embarrassing. I was also aware he was struggling with MH at the time so felt this was probably a contributing factor, perhaps he's stressed OP?

The reality is, he just needs a little help and if he wanted to talk about it he would. I've always thought of it a bit like when women hide sanitary products up their sleeves to pop to the toilet. We don't want everyone to see/know and we don't need to discuss it, I'm sure men feel similar about viagra

No.

Well, the "without secrets" bit I'm not keen on - I feel actually I like to have something for myself, some privacy, thoughts/memories/experiences/fantasies that are my own and aren't expected to be shared. I think what you're saying is a bit "lets wear each other as skinsuits" 😂

I'm happy for my partner to also have his own mental space/privacy.

Of course it's important to be able to talk openly about sex together, but doing the whole "what went well in bed" thing can turn out poorly - my ex used to insist on pretty much an inquest every time and it turned it into a chore.

The most intense relationship I ever had was the most unhealthy. Honesty, openness, sex positivity, yes - sharing everything, no. But I'm glad it works for you.

TheOwlChronicles · 03/11/2023 17:15

@Thisthingwedo I'm glad it works well for you. But we've been happily married for 10 years without the need for a weekly audit and I know we'd just laugh through it

Maybe not so mature now I think about it

TheOwlChronicles · 03/11/2023 17:16

And I really don't like the sound of intense and unconventional Halloween Confused
