Texts first but stops replying?

Hi,
I met a guy online about two months ago, we have met up a few times in person and we get on really great. However, I've noticed over the last few weeks that he will text me first, I will respond and then after one or two texts he just stops replying. When we first started texting, he would text me all day, every day! The last I heard from him was Friday, he text me first and then read my reply but didn't respond - I just think why bother texting me in the first place!
As I said we get on great in person and I really like him, which is why I find his texting habits confusing.
We're not official, so is this something I should bring up with him and should I bother texting him to check in if he hasn't replied to my last text?
Thanks in advance.

He's not interested. If he were you would know it.

He’s probably texting and maybe meeting other people

Ive learnt from OLD that when the messages tail off they’ve lost interest.

I'm murder for doing this (but not online dating). Start a conversation when Ive got actual physical time for it, but then life kicks in 10 mins later and forget to message back

He's not texted back for 3 days now, take the hint and move on yourself. If he texts you again, be sure to leave him on unread for a few days, it's what he deserves. Then don't reply yourself and block, so you don't have to wonder if he will ever text you again.

That's me as well. I think it's because I also think texting isn't the best form of communication and it can take away a whole evening going back and forth..
