I came home after being out with the kids for a few hrs at a play centre and i was stressed and snappy. Our youngest was wet from jumping in puddles so husband undressed him and put him on his lap while he was on the sofa. I throw him some clothes for him that i thought was ok but he then throw the clothes back hard at me head then he left and slammed a door. afterwards he was silent and didn't say anything i asked for an apology he said no so i said i wanted him to leave. He then went to bed at 5 and hasn't got back up.

i dont know what to do 😞

I wouldn't be too happy if somebody threw clothes at me to begin with. Why did you throw clothes at him? Ok you feel stressed, that doesn't give you a right to throw them in the first place. Then you want him to apologise? .... strange

I didn't throw clothes out of anger or stress. i throw them in a way i do all the time. like when he asks me for the remote i throw it and so does he.
He throw them out of anger

Why was he angry?

GrumpyPanda · 29/10/2023 01:24

Sounds like he was upset he had to parent his child. Cunt.

I'm guessing this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Something's up. He could easily have just re-dressed the child and carried on. You took the kids out, he didn’t so he can't be fuming over that. He needs to explain his reaction.

Eddyraisins · 29/10/2023 01:38

Did you throw them what he would perceive hard?
If not what a childish idiot!

Is he a good, hands on dad or does he expect you to do all the childcare.
