I've recently delved back into OLD for the first time in 7 years and I kid you not... The amount of familiar faces I see on the apps is surprising.

Some of these men still use the same cringey selfie photos from 7 years ago.

I know, right? At least three I used to see year in and year out on Guardian Soulmates and Match 10 years ago are still out there, with the same photos.

I posted about this on another thread. I’m back OLD after a few years and I am amazed at the number of men I recognise with exactly the same profile and photos as last time.

I can’t work out if they’re back on the apps as they’ve just come out of a LTR (like me) or if they’ve been on there the whole time - I suspect the latter.

My friends been on dating apps for 3 years and it sounds pointless. She sometimes spends every Sunday for 2 months with someone then itl fizzle out. Or she never meets them. Or they meet her once or twice then ghost. Or she meets them once or twice then she thinks nah. Then there's the users who contact her every few months for a bootie call and her loneliness makes her go and sleep with them. Then she ends up talking about different men everytime we meet up and she seems to never forget any of them and obsesses over the fact some actually got in relationships.

Lots of people are commitment phoebe's these days, men and women. All constantly looking for the bigger, better, deal.
