My partner and I are together a long time 2 kids/ we moved areas a few years ago - sold our house and hoped we were making the right decision.
turned out it was not - I’m dreadfully unhappy where we are and kids are too. Trying to move house but it’s impossible to find a house that ticks all the boxes. House prices are also so high.
I’m so frustrated and honestly going crazy - saw a house recently which was on a bad plot but I really liked it. Partnern refusing to consider it.
at what point do we just stop looking for the perfect house within a reasonable budget? I don’t know how much longer I can stay where we are. I need to move on with our lives& feel so bad for our kids who cannot have rooms decorated the way they want etc.
last house purchase we were looking about 3 years but I cannot wait much longer.
just advice appreciated - should I just wait until we find something both of us like or what needs to happen?
