56% of marriages end in divorce, with another 20% being unhappy but staying together for kids/finances.
Some interesting points but a fairly grim message overall. Wondered what others thought of this if they’d seen it?

The year was 2023, I was a young man devoid of all love, except for that of the bottle. Looking back, those spirits may have been the reason for the final nail in my coffin...of divorce. I suppose I had thought myself unscathable...immortal. Though now the memory of this, stabs me like a thousand paper cuts from her alimony cheques. She was gone and I was alone, alone for all eternity. Or until my death of liver failure, whichever would hasten to me first.

Really interesting. Hes right about the fact that people enter the marriage contract with absolute abandon but when it doesnt work out, it’s difficult to get out of. Interesting view on the young women with older guys. Ive always had mixed feelings about that but i do think they are quite savvy. Not sure i could do it but…

once im out of my marriage, i wont be doing it again. Its just not so easy to call it a day in my opinion. The only winners in many divorces are the lawyers
