Friend or relative who crossdresses

Have you ever given or lent clothes to a friend or relative who crossdresses?

I have given a skirt I never wore to a friend.

Weird

Inmy50s · 04/10/2023 17:22

He is a long-term friend, I never wore the skirt, so simply passed it on.

No, I don’t have any friends who dress up.

category12 · 04/10/2023 17:29

I kind of expect them to buy their own clothes like I do.

melmonroe · 04/10/2023 17:31

I wouldn't indulge them.

ThatThingYouCantRemember · 04/10/2023 23:18

No and I wouldn’t indulge it. I don’t want to participate in anyone’s fetish like that personally…

DaleksAreTinCans · 04/10/2023 23:25

All the time. I also used to borrow items from my similar sized male friends (mini skirt, tops, plus nick their huge comfy hoodies)

WrylyAmused · 04/10/2023 23:59

Yep, same as I sometimes lend clothes to female friends, and sometimes borrow clothes off any of my friends.

And on the same conditions: you can only wear it if it fits you without stretching it, and I get it back washed, clean and without damage/marks.

What sort of question even is this!?

WrylyAmused · 05/10/2023 00:05

Also... I'm slightly amused and slightly sad that several PPs think it's always a fetish.

Plenty of people like to express themselves through clothes, and sometimes they want to express different aspects of themselves, of which masculine/feminine is just one dimension.

Do you wear the same to work, as to a festival, as on the beach? Probably not. You express different aspects of your personality at different times.

It's not always, necessarily, or even usually sexual for many (although I accept it is for some).

Idrankyourbananamilk · 05/10/2023 00:14

I get that it isn’t always a sexual fetish, but quite often it is, and therefore I will personally refrain from sharing any stories myself which could be used as material to indulge it.

What an unusual subject for a thread, and so late in the evening 🤔

ThatThingYouCantRemember · 05/10/2023 02:22

It’s a fetish if it’s crossdressing. If a man just likes wearing feminine clothing while not equating it to being female? Then it’s another thing entirely.

I’ll sit back to see who understands this difference and who doesn’t. Should be interesting…

AgentJohnson · 05/10/2023 07:39

Why is this worthy of a thread? Think of it as recycling if it makes you feel any better.

This. Why on earth do women think men are doing it?
