How to get my name on the mortage?

Our house is in DH’s name. I have a very low salary (primary carer). He says my name can’t go on the mortgage as I don’t earn enough.

Is this true?

No, that is not true. Two payees always better than one even if one is minimum wage.
If you got debt that is another story.
