To feel so unattractive being thin

I can't seem to like my body shape I've tried everything! Am small/petite and not curvy... and have always felt inferior and lesser than other women. I have tried literally everything and have a holiday coming up and have no idea what to wear swimsuit wise. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sending you a virtual hug. I bet you look fantastic and, FWIW, that lots of women wish they had your figure.

Re the swimsuit, why not try a 40s or 50s style suit? A more elegant style will take your body shape out of the equation and hopefully give you a bit of confidence.

Look at Louise rednapp and kylie or someone else you think looks good who is petite - the styles they wear- make the best of what you have. Re swimsuit, a bikini

It's shit, OP, that, as a society we have been taught to hate ourselves and our appearance/body shape - whatever it may be.

I would also look at 50s style as these are often more structured and can create the 'illusion' of a different shape. Look at other very slim women and see what they wear.

It's a 'the grass is always greener' situation, thanks to society having conditioned women to feel judged on their appearance. Lots of women would love a slim, petite figure. I agree with finding swimwear that is elegant, perhaps in a vibrant colour or pattern.

I remember going in a beach holiday with a friend who had a very boyish body. Clothes looked great on her but she was SO self conscious on the beach I was so surprised! She's over 60 now still has the same figure - she still looks enviously lovely to me!
A one piece with a bit of frill on top?

Have a look on Pinterest for ideas for dressing for petite women. Also agree with pp about modelling yourself on a famous person. I think Nicole Richie always looks fantastic.

So many people get to a certain age and then look back at old photos, and say 'I was lovely but thought I wasn't' 'I thought I was fat and wasn't'. 'I thought I had a big nose and I didn't'. But you can't go back. You just wish you'd appreciated what you had when you had it.

Please don't be one of those people. Life is about so much more than clothes size, but if you're petite it will be easier for you to wear most fashions than most people.
