They affect my mental health

I help run a social group. Some admins are naive and said we should allow fake profiles in to avoid discrimination. If we decline the fake profile some admins accuse people of racism. We only look out for safety as a previous member got scammed out of thousands. I am getting fed up of the negativity and getting the blame for acting on multiple member concerns even though the general consensus have agreed what action to take on removing fake profiles. Yes when everything goes wrong it is left to me sort it out while they sit back.

The group is quite negative, cliquey, members are aggressive and attendance has dropped. These people drain me and I don't think genuine friends can be made here. I am fed up of it and it is affecting my mental health. I just want to socialise with welcoming people who don't judge and look out for others but don't know where to find these people.

Sounds like it’s time for you to bow out of the group.

These aren't your people OP. As pp said, time to bow out. Find a group where you don't have to be an Admin.

Leave the group, OP. The right one is out there for you.
