I have children under the age of 14 youngest is 4

i don't want this but it's been years of misery and me saying 'what have I done' when he is nasty to me

what do I do next? I need a plan or some information before I tell him.

Look at entitled to see what you’re entitled to. Possibly contact woman’s aid they may be able to help. I booked a free half hour with a solicitor. I chose to drip feed and back away slowly as I knew he was going to freak. I did it though he was manipulative and gaslighting me amongst other behaviours. It was so tough. But now I’m at university and free of him. I did it so can you! I applied for my divorce today!

gather as much information on finances as you can. He might try to hide the true picture once he knows you want a divorce.
