Best OLD sites

As the title asks, which are the best online dating sites - for 40 and onwards, single parents. Looking for someone to travel with, for sex and hopefully to form a long term relationship and find love.

There are none. The problem is not the sites per se, it's the same men on all of the sites.
Honestly meet someone on real life if you're in your 40s. There are no decent normal well adjusted men on these sites. They are in other places doing things that decent well adjusted men do.
Try walking clubs, cycling or running clubs. Failing that marshalling at parkrun or similar if you don't like the actual exercise.

You're probably still more likely to meet a decent man on OLD than at a random event/club.... you just have to sift through lots before you get to someone decent. If you turn up to volunteer at your local parkrun or whatever, the chances of a single "man of your dreams" being there are next to zero.

And those decent well adjusted men go onto dating sites too... They just get snapped up pretty quickly!

I recommend Badoo, it's free, spoke to a few nice men, I came off as I haven't got time to date atm but would definitely try again soon, preferred it to bumble.

This 100% you might find that odd gem on an app but they are few and far between.

Thanks all. If I'd fully understood the impact of dating in your 40s/being completely alone, coupled with marrying the wrong person and father to my DC, would have, I would have tried to make better choices in my 20s and 30s. Oh well

Yep me too.Oddly I had no doubts at all about my ex when I married him.
Hindsight eh.

@Bluebellcup reviving your thread since I am in a similar situation. Hope you found someone good - were there any OLD sites you recommend? I registered on elitesingles but no luck at all so far. Very disappointing.
