Triggered by the Dispatches Programme

I managed five minutes, then realised that Russell Brand is identical to my my stbxh. Blow jobs, hiding in plain sight, and all.

And the utterly scary thing is that I liked him, when he started out. If I'd met him in real life, I'd have wanted to save him, just like I tried to save my stbxh.

I've turned it off, but I'm shaking.

Thank god I got out.

You won't be the only one. I can't watch it either. It's way too triggering.

Seriously an uncomfortable watch.

I started reading the Times article and had to stop. I won't be watching the programme.

I have never, ever liked him. He seemed to make a career out of being a ""sex addict" and his drug problems too, by being so open about it all he thought it excused any behaviour.

Hope you're okay OP.

Oh wow, I hope you're OK. Flowers Sending (((hugs)))

SweetBirdsong · 16/09/2023 21:42

I have set this to record on Ch4+1

I too found it so triggering. Reminds me of an ex partner. Thinking of you all. Big hugs.
