My new partner has 3 kids. He's been to court many times for contact. He's only allowed to write a letter every 2 weeks to his his children. Anyone any experience with this setup???

What do you mean by "partner"?

To most people that means someone that you have a well established committed relationship. If that's the case here, why are you only asking these questions now?

Or do you just mean "sexual partner" and someone you've not long been dating?

Or have you rushed very fast and deep into an intense relationship with this guy, and have started thinking of him as your partner even though you barely know him.
