Will they believe me?

Hi,

I wrote a previous post about my ex but now he’s taken something from my room and denies it. I know he has because it’s a very ‘personal ‘ item and I keep it in the same place.

Before this he was always going in my room looking for my journal - reading , writing in it and ripping pages out.

I now feel like it’s gone too far - if I report this will the police take me seriously? I can’t prove anything but I just can’t take the emotional abuse anymore.

i feel like he’s trying to drive me out of my home but I don’t want to leave until the house is up for sale and sold.

Yes report it. It gets it on record just incase. If you tell them about previous emotional abuse too (domestic abuse) theyll take note xxx

Everything he does, you need to record and call none emergency line for it. You need to keep a paper trail just in case you need it which it sounds like you will.
