Friend's husband may be having gay affair - anyone else faced this?

My friend suspects her husband may be having a gay affair. She found messages on his mobile along with a video that would indicate he is seeing another man. She has given me some numbers she took off his mobile phone bill so that I can ring them and see who answers (she thinks they might be gay chat lines or something). Is there a way I can trace mobile numbers on the internet without having to ring? I really don't know what to advise her - she just doesn't trust him now and who can blame her? They have 2 young children and he works ridiculously long hours including weekends - although she now wonders if he really is working all the time. She has confronted him but he says he isn't seeing anyone. Anyone faced this before?

I have a friend whos partner met another man and left her - it is a very difficult thing to deal with, not only do you loose your partner but you question everything about your own sexuality too.

If the numbers are premimum rate numbers type them into google and the details will probably come up.

Dont think you can get anything about mobile numbers on internet - as they can often be pay as you go and non tracable (unless your the police) and that can be difficult!. Would it be worth calling and saing you are the mobile service provider and checking name and address details as someone may be cloning the phone??

Is there any way she could bluetooth the video to her phone while he is sleeping or when he leaves his phone lying around - if he does?

I've never known a way to trace mobile numbers online, it'd be easier to just withold your number and call it, if a man answers then say something along the lines of "Oh who's this?"... wait for a reply, and then apologize and tell them you have the wrong number. Hopefully you'll then have a name(s) you can give to her, which she can present with the video.

I've never been in that situation before thank god, must be awful so that's really all I can suggest for now.

Yeah... there is some way... don't know how, but my DH had a problem with a number supposed to be from the Carphone warehouse and it wasn't - he found out cos he googl'ed it...

I'd still think it's better to call them. Do it from a public call box if you don't want to be traced....

You prob also need to advise her to take an HIV test if she hasn't done so already

No advice but plenty of sympathy for your friend. My Mum went through this many times.

Have you tried just googling the numbers?
