What makes your DP a good dad? Or your own dad?

What is it that you think makes them a good parent? I appreciate will be more than a single thing but what is the essence of it in your opinion? Or instead what was it about your dad that made him a good dad in your opinion?

That he is equally as capable of looking after and sorting whatever the kids need. We tag team when together, and I can quite easily take myself away for the weekend without having to worry that he won't know what to do.

My Dad - he never patronised me, and always found me interesting. In contrast to men in general !!
