My cousin and I were like best friends for years then after I got married she pretty much ghosted me! I've been married for about 3 years now and I never hear from her anymore. I heard from my mum that my aunty (her mum) had been diagnosed with a serious illness so I messaged her my condolences and just got ignored. I just found out that my uncle (her dad) has passed away on Facebook!!!! She didn't even have the decency to tell me in person or in a message. What do I do?! If I message it will get ignored again! It's so awkward now after all this time and I just don't know what I've done wrong!

“Didn’t have the decency to tell me”

Ummm. She’s grieving. You haven’t spoken in years. This isn’t about you.

Id expect your mum to pass on the message tbh

Why didn't your Mum know? You don't sound a close family, do you live a long way from them?

For whatever reason, you are not in contact and she doesn't appear to want contact with you. Why would you be forcing this issue when she has her own things to deal with. It's not like these people were all that important to you, because if they were you wouldn't be reading about it on social media.

You haven't been in touch with her for 3 years, so why would you be at the forefront of her mind when she's just lost her parent? This is not about you, and it's surprising that you think it is.
