Dating Site Suggestions

I am in my late forties and have been separated two years, following an emotionally abusive relationship.

I am tentatively thinking of dipping my toe in to the dating pond although I feel new ou about doing this.

I am a professional woman, have a decent income, own my own home and I feel confident (ish) about who I am. I am not interested in meaningless interactions and would like to meet people who are more serious about finding a relationship in their lives.

Any ideas or suggestions of dating sites that might be suitable?

Also please share any positive experiences if you have them, it's a scary world to step into.

Thanks so much.

I'd say elite singles or match for better quality. Avoid the free sites.

Thanks for this.

I'll investigate these. Is Bumble just for "younger" people?

I am wondering what other late forty year olds have used in the dating world.

Thank you so much

Bumble is pretty good in my experience, if you’re interested in late forties early fifties men (in London anyway, haven’t tried it elsewhere)

I'm mid 50s, currently using tinder. It's not just for ons/hookups. My last 2 relationships were from tinder. But sadly didn't last.

Match is expensive and not that great. I paid for 6mths and had zero dates.

Bumble is good, although I've had limited success. Same with Hinge.

Ok Cupid and POF are worth looking at.

But the simple answer is that it's luck and numbers. You have to try a few and see which suits you. And it very much depends on your location.
