How do they do it?
So I was a fool, I got talking to a bloke online, he sent a picture he was reasonably attractive but by no means breath taking. We met in person a few weeks later for a coffee and a kiss, then he messaged me Daily, phone calls most days or voice notes said he loved me. Yeah I know.. then after stringing me along for way too long and leading me to believe he booked time off to meet again ghosted me after I sent a message saying I don't believe you have any intention of seeing me next week. He didn't even reply.
I then did a little digging by no means stalking or anything literally one post on Facebook and I unearthed another woman he did exactly the same to as me, spoke for 9 months, no sex again just coffee and a kiss. She informed me that he actually has a girlfriend closer to home they have been together 9 years. However he's treated her like a mug too. 9 years never lived together, got engaged after 3 months with no intention of ever getting married and he's never introduced her to his family. Hes 34, woman I spoke with 56, his girlfriend is 58 Im 41..He lied to me about pretty much everything, made up a whole life said he lived with a mate called Ryan who works in Morrisons and brings home pizza for tea some weekends.. was all bollocks. I've actually spoken to his girlfriend on the phone to tell her how I met him, what he's been doing and inform her what a sack of shit he is again as she knows about the other woman too, she said he lives with his parents hasn't moved out since he left the army. She told me she's fucking him off for good but I know she won't. She sent me screenshots of her begging him for breadcrumbs.
I have no interest in him now whatsoever he's a pathetic creature and I got my closure. It was the not knowing that got me. But how do these narcissists do it? How do they make us fall in love?.. he has bucked teeth, man boobs, scruffy beard looks like he needs a good wash, never smiles most miserable looking git I've ever seen.
