OLD - Turned off instantly

Just thought I’d share this as I’m losing hope OLD. Was having a reasonable chat with a man and we were talking about meeting up, then he asks ‘would you like to meet up and play?’. I instantly felt sick, not only is it ANOTHER desperado seeking sex but I loath the term ‘play’. It just seems like a word that is used by awful men that frequent sex and swinging sites. I prefer any word for sex over ‘play’.

That is gross!

Aww OP, I feel you! It's so frustrating but don't lose hope. I met my OH on POF when I was really at the end of my tether. I wish these men would be upfront and say they are just looking for sex, at least that way you could avoid them.

Tell them to get off OLD sites and piss off to the sex sites . Is there anyway that you can report these men in the OLD site and get their profiles removed ? Its a dating site not a shagging site .

To put a more positive light on this, he revealed himself for true intention before you got dressed up and wasted time having a drink with him, and got all the old love bombing chat about the future 'together'. He cut to the chase and while his terminology is gross, he saved you the bother of wasting time on him. I suppose OLD is full of hook up types and some have just given up on pretending to what anything more than sex.
