Is this normal?

Hello! I'm just posting to get an insight i to other people's relationships. I have been with my partner for 6 years. Sometimes i love him more than anything, feel like we are meant to be together. But the other half of the time he makes my blood boil and i fantasize about being single and not having him there being miserable and questioning everything i do. Is this normal, or is this just me??

Sound like PMT to me. Are you tracking your symptoms/cycle ?

category12 · 29/08/2023 21:44

It doesn't sound normal, no.

I think it's normal to have your moments of frustration and irritation with a partner, but that sounds like you have a lot of moments.

No it doesn't sound normal.

Depends on age. Are you peri menopausal?

It sounds like he's acting annoying. Eventually you'll probably have enough of it and go off him. What sort of things does he say/do?

I did wonder about pmt but it doesn't seem to be connected :(

He has these moods where he goes all quiet and doesn't speak. Not silent treatment, just really cut off and unemotional. They're unpredictable and i've no idea what causes him to be like this. He says he's just being quiet and there's nothing wrong with that...but it drives me mad, and often family will ask what's wrong with him and why is he so moody...so i dunno if it's me over reacting or him being miserable!

Well it's not just you if other people are noticing his moods.

porridgeisbae · 29/08/2023 22:33

I wouldn't like that @Isthisnormal32 . It's moody or gives the appearance of being moody, which would freak me out. Too much like my dad.

questioning everything i do

What's this bit?
