TikTok ads

Does anyone know if these are personalised? Just wondering as my ‘husband’ has been getting ads for bumble and tinder etc…I didn’t know if this was just the norm for TikTok, he also gets banning ones too apperently. Should I be worried or is this just the norm for TikTok?

I'm not sure, but I do know that you can hold your thumb down and click on 'Not Interested'. How do you know he's getting it? Has he told you or are you using his Tik Tok?

If you're using his, do the 'not interest' thing a few times and see if it goes away. If it comes back, then he might be doing something dodgy. Sorry.

I mean if they are personalised it is based on things like age and gender rather than specific things you have searched for.

I always get adverts for bumble and have never once searched for dating apps or been a member!

Even personalised ads are only as good as the criteria they've been given. A dating app could have an abundance of women in the Birmingham area, for example, so will bombard male users that log on within that location, on the off chance.
