Can you be in love with 2 people at the same time ?
i feel awful, I’m married and love my husband but I think I’ve fallen in love with someone else as well. It’s totally out of character for me I’ve never even looked at another man in that way in 24 years.
Thoughts ?

In my opinion, if you truly love one person romantically, you can't truly love another person in the same way. If you loved the first person, it wouldn't even cross your mind that you could be in love with a second person. That's just my opinion, others may disagree. I don't think you love your husband, if you've fallen in love with someone else.

I think you can love one person and have an infatuation for another. Don't confuse the two.

Not in the same way no. I still loved my ex platonically but knew it was over when I was falling in love romantically with someone else.

Yes, I think you can.

I think you can love two people at once. However, when it happens you have to be extremely practical because powerful feelings can lead to impulsive behaviour and that can lead to worlds of pain for everyone involved. If it’s really love, you don’t want to risk hurting them. But if it’s intense desire (rather than love) you’ll be tempted to throw caution to the wind. Choose wisely!

I think you can recieve love from two people, however I don't think you truly outwardly love people as love has components of care, respect and an unwillingness to not hurt someone who you truly respect and love.

You keep love safe and by crossing boundaries by giving love to another, you have not kept love safe.

So although you feel you may love two people, by caring for two people simultaneously means you do not understand love, in the sense that many others feel love.

In other words I wouldn't like to be loved in the way you love your husband.
Poor chap.
