It's bad but I've been through my DH phone and found multiple searches of women, think 30+ in the last few days. These women all appear to be local and living within 15 mile radius.
I don't know what to do now, whether to admit to snooping and question what I've found? I can't think of a reason why he would be searching them

Oh no, I’m sorry you had to find this out. I would be gutted about this. You say you can’t think of a reason he’d search them, is the most likely scenario that they are women he knows/has heard of and he’s just ‘curious’ about them? Not to downplay it, I can see how that is still hurtful, but do you think it’s ‘just’ that rather than anything like messaging them, meeting up etc?

littlebopeepp234 · 02/08/2023 02:02

In my experience op these are often searches of women that they have been chatting to online. Do these women show as ‘single’ on their profile? Did you see any dating or hookup apps/Snapchat/kik/WhatsApp on his phone?

I could be wrong but I’m just going from experience that’s all.

Is he a tradesman or work in a business that would mean he would know or have access to customers names? It's certainly concerning.

Sounds very dodgy to me. Did you look on the messages? Were they friends on fb?

pottytrainingissue · 02/08/2023 08:27

They weren't friends on Facebook and no messages had been exchanged on Facebook. From what I could see on internet search history/apps downloaded there was no dating/online chat. So I'm not sure now!

He could be using Facebook dating therefore you don’t actually need to download any other app. He must know of these women to be searching them. I have just found from experience that when they start searching a load of random women then they have usually been in contact with them somehow

WorldCuppa · 02/08/2023 08:44

Why are you going through your husbands phone?

pottytrainingissue · 02/08/2023 09:12

@WorldCuppa my husband has a history of gambling problems so I occasionally check his banking apps and ended up looking on other apps

Can you look on Facebook off Facebook activity? It’s in settings and privacy.

Dombasle · 02/08/2023 09:20

Are the women all showing as being as single?

Normal m/average looking women or glamour, pouting types with cleavage and bottom photos?

In his age group?

Look at their likes and see if there is something in common such as 'Town name singles' etc

babybopella · 02/08/2023 09:40

No other apps on his phone? No signs of him using dating apps? You checked his messages? Is he acting suspicious?
