So there is a man I’ve been flirting with via text we’ve already met and have slept together. I went to see him as he lives quite a way from me.
Anyway, we were flirting via text last night and he was saying how he’d love to come and visit me. 2 texts to this effect
The third message read to which train station lol I need to book a train lol.
Now I don’t know if he’s being serious or not and I don’t want to come out and ask him straight out!

What’s not to understand? He’s said twice he wants to visit and is asking which station to get the train to!

It’s the lol at the end ! Does that mean he’s joking ?

I'd read it as he's added the "lol" to keep it light hearted. Probably doesn't want to come on too strong or too eager. It'd be a weird thing to joke about.

Just tell him the name of your station. If he hits back with "erm.. I was joking", then ditch him 'cos he's a weirdo. But that won't be his response.

@Mariam42 - just think about what you’re saying here. You’ve had sex with this guy and you’re flirting with him by text. You should be able to ask whether he means it about visiting you. If you can have sex with someone, you should be able to talk to them!

Fwiw, he's not joking. What's the joke? If he weren't interested in more sex with you, he wouldn't be flirting with you and asking.

Seriously, it wasn't a joke. He was just being lighthearted.

It was more of a, "Get me, I'm keen aren't I?!! 🤣🙈" and not at all a "Ha, like I'd ever get naked with you again! 🤣"

Bottom line - you're going to have to either rake a leap of faith and risk a infinitesimally small chance of him being a grade A prick or it's going to fizzle into nothing.

He means it, but he’s being light hearted as others have said incase you don’t want it. Make it clear you’d like that. Tell him your local station
