Partner works away

My partner works away in a 3 week on/off rotation. We have a baby girl and since she came along we find it so hard to balance time at home with him to be a family to have time to eachother and to have time to ourselves plus also keep a house together. We only have 3 weeks to fit it all in plus me going ti work. How on earth do people deal with partners working away and making the most of them being home ?

My DH worked 7/10 days and home for 2/3.
I did all the housework and admin, we would go out for coffee or maybe get a babysitter occasionally, and accept that that’s how it is when you have kids.
‘If yours is home for 3 weeks, what are you not doing in those 3 weeks ?

My partner works away. 8 weeks on. 8 weeks off. I try and time my annual leave for when he's due home.

He picks up the slack when he's home.

We book and plan things to do together as best we can (often very little notice of when he's coming home or going lol)

You will get yourself into a routine and somehow it just works..

When he's away friends always step up for want of a better word and keep me busy
