Interesting piece in Daily Mail, (I only buy it for the Magazine on Saturdays) Honest Miss!
A double page on the romances and pairings of the Lionesses. Some are in relationships with women in foreign teams. At some stage they may be playing against a partner.
Not thought about that aspect before. I was pleased to see that the article was in fairly good taste.

Any chance you can add a pic?

EmmaDial · 29/07/2023 21:29

@southbailey , I read the physical paper, so it would not be good quality to scan and send. MN I think objects as it would infringe copyright.
Ask me questions if you like, either here or chat by PMs. (tomorrow)

It was online too, maybe search and it should come up

southbailey · 29/07/2023 22:01

I just found it online.
The online version mentions one in a same sex relationship. Does the print version do more?

I'mHmm about all the" hot boyfriend" thing but I'm all about the ladies myself🤣

EmmaDial · 30/07/2023 08:12

@southbailey The article mentions about 10 pairings, perhaps more if one counts those relationships that have already In other broken. They are all shown fully dressed. Lingerie pics for some are available in other places I believe.
Jess Carter and Anna-Katrin Berger both play for Chelsea but Jess plays for England but A-KB plays for Germany.
There are or have been other international couples. That was one aspect of the article that I thought unusual and has the potential to bring an extra tension to them.
Like you, IMO the ladies win.

I find it interesting to see the women's football.

Someone sent me a YouTube of an advert of men playing football - Samsung I think - where superb runs and goal shots and goals were shown, massive crowds, the whole shebang - and then AI morphed it all into women's football, it had been women all along, AI'd into men, with Samsung saying 'we support the real thing' - in this case, women.

And with the news lately, many more women giving the news - we just can't trust men to do things nicely.

@something2say "it had been women all the time"
LOL, Can't be trusted is right.
