Is there a really good list somewhere of things you need to do before getting a divorce, especially from someone showing narcissistic traits?

So far I have:

Open own bank account
Get a credit card in my own name
Get a utility bill in my own name (for proof of id)
Get my own email that he has no access to
Talk to friends for advice and support

Marriage cert.
All financial info - house, savings, pensions, shares etc
Keep copies at a trusted friends house and/or email copies to yourself
Get copies of all other important docs like passport

Look at your will and if you have life insurance or mortgage protection, who is the beneficiary.

Save up points from Tesco/Boots/Amazon/Watersones etc.

Ask friends to hold money or useful items that you can sift away for your new home.

Do a clear out and move sheets, duvets, towels, cutlery, plates, cups, pots, anything he might not notice.

Most friends could take a few boxes.
These will save you money.

Vouchers for shops you use.

Shore up as much support as possible.
