Maybe a strange question, but I was just wondering if anyone found happiness without a partner and kids and how did you do that?

It just wasn’t in the cards for me, but I’m still in the akwards age that I have decades to live and it’s kind of scaring me.

I absolutely understand how you feel OP. I am not sure how old you are though, but you may well still find a partner. I have just managed to do so (for the first time in my life aged 36).

Do you have any hobbies or interests you are passionate about? I know someone in her 40s who is single and doesn't have kids, and she seems to have created a 'family' of friends through running. As well as running every week, she is always out socialising with them. Obviously I don't know whether deep down she is sad about being single and not having kids, but at least her life doesn't look lonely.

I am sending you my best wishes.

You. An have a very fulfilling life without being in a couple or having children. I’m 47 , childless, newly divorced- but I’m going to have a damn good life!
