My ex and I broke up about 3 months ago. At the time I let him go and seeked counselling. Turns out I had PND and I didn't deal well with situation. Neither of us knew it was causing my behaviour and he didn't deal well with it either. Post counselling I have realised I still have feelings for him and we had a long chat... he has already met someone but needs time to think. We brought up the conversation twice since then and he keeps saying he misses our family but thought I have moved on and didn't want him back ( I started to enjoy life, go out etc). He now knows I still miss him and want him back, he says he misses us too but not sure how it would work etc and needs time to decide. When he comes over to see DS he cuddles me, questions where I was out etc. He also doesn't look happy with new gf and when I ask him if he is happy, I get I'm fine.
Where do I stand ? Does he want to be back but is scared we might now work? Is he messing me about and keeping me as an option? Is he too scared to tell me he isn't coming back ?
