with your partners ex texting them at 3am? (Shared children but not texting about the child and not an emergency)

So someone had a few drinks on a bank holiday, was feeling a bit maudlin and sent a foolish text message...! It happens.

As long as your dp rolled his eyes and ignored it, I don't really see it as an issue.

Hi @MumsShark no i wouldn't be happy and would ask that he block her xx

BaiesRosesAmbre · 30/05/2023 03:46

I wouldn’t care as long as it wasn’t a weird text?

GoalShooter · 30/05/2023 04:42

I'd think it was odd and unnecessary but wouldn't give it too much headspace.

They share children so he can’t block her

BlastedPimples · 30/05/2023 05:56

Not a big deal really. She had probably had a few. I mean she didn't send a titty pic, did she?

ZekeZeke · 30/05/2023 06:04

No I wouldn't be happy wirh that however my partners reaction would be important.

Did he message back?
Did he eye roll and ignore?

I don’t give all my husbands friends / people that he knows a curfew that they must finish texting him by, no. I’m not controlling enough to think that I can arrange other peoples timetables to dictate when they can and can’t do things that don’t concern me! If someone wants to text him at 3 AM let them - our phones would be on silent at that time so no problem.
