The Great Gatsby themed party...

I've been invited to an extremely posh party by a very wealthy friend of mine (I am not wealthy in the slightest)

Held on a country estate, fancy dinner and drinks and music etc.

The theme on the invite is The Great Gatsby and underneath it says "extravagant 1920s dress" can anyone give me some ideas as to what might be suitable?

I'm 5'6 and size 16, apple shape so very slim legs and hips but massive boobs, wide shoulders and a tummy. Oh and I absolutely do not wear heels.

Any help would be much appreciated! It's not until August so I have plenty of time to prepare!

These can actually be fun.
One time I wore a mid calf black skirt and tucked in a white button up white long sleeve shirt.I wore black suspenders and a long (fake of course) pearl necklace.So I kind of looked like a female 1920's gangster,lol.I got lots of compliments and it was inexpensive. Also black heels but I'm 4'11 so I needed the height.
It was just a fun alternative to a flapper dress.
But just have fun with it and wear whatever you want!
